So the past two weeks I have written in advance and queued up my posts. This way I have almost written every day something of more worth than "here this is a post read my words". I have also managed to write more stories than I have ever before in my entire life.
But you know what is the hardest thing for me in this?
I have to sit. And wait. And wait. For people to read my AWESOME POST OF AWESOMENESS THAT WILL REDEFINE EVERYTHING FOR THE BETTER.
For instance. My stories. I had to wait like four days for anyone to read them. This is worse than no comments... its like a week worth of waiting wondering... is there going to be comments? Is it any good? Will I like the way it looks when it hits the blog?
I don't know how other people stand it.
What I do know... is that it is better to write a good post a day then write seven good posts in one day. Why?
Because people don't usually have time to read seven good posts in one day. They usually only have time to read their daily blogger and trot off to do stuff. Some don't even have time for that. So if you write a million amazing posts in one day...then they read one of them and NEVER READ THE OTHERS.
As someone who thrives on the -idea- of people reading his writing the suggestion that practices might lead to less eyes on words is a horrible thing. Much like little kittens dying.
But the waiting. Oh how the waiting tears at me. Every monday I write about three posts. Every Tuesday I usually write two more. Every Wednesday I'm frothing at the mouth because the thursday post TAKES FOREVER.
Note: for every every in that last paragraph replace with "for the last two weeks".
Patience. I just don't have much.
