LeetRaider

So guess who hit 80 and NEVER remembered to train? Yep, that would be me. Just found that out last night when I participated in my first ever 10-man in Wrath. Talk about embarrassing. But I think the raid went well. I seem to remember Karazhan taking a long time to get through and now it feels like we go in, can take on almost the entire thing at once, and still survive. In fact when we wiped (on Kael'Thas, I think Naxx) it took me by surprise because I had been lulled into thinking we were invincible. And promptly after wiping meself, bro-in-law 1 and bro-in-law 2 stood too close together after repeated instructions NOT to stand close together and all three of us went down. Wipe #2. After that we successfully downed him but an abomination took one to many swipes at me so I went down right as the fight started. Got rezzed right before the end. Got the head piece, 34 badges of triumph (not all from that one place, I just had noticed how many I had and that I could probably start get...

Healing thoughts:

I respecced my resto druid this week. I had somehow missed Nature's splendor. Also I had 5/5 in Naturalist and 2/2 in Improved Tranquility. Now I -like- improved tranquility and taking the 2 points from there is something I"m only trying. I have used the spell to save parties many times and 0 threat from doing so is a nice thing for a pugging healer. 5/5 naturalist, however was a complete waste. The only time I -ever- use healing touch is in combination with Nature's Swiftness so reducing its cast time is a waste of 5 talents. These talents were used instead to help me reach Nature's Splendor in the balance tree. I moved the Improved Tranquility points over to empowered touch. I'm using nourish more and more and more(still less than Regrowth I think but about even). With my new 2piece bonus from t9 I'm even more likely to. Just from talents and gear I now have a 37% crit chance for nourish. Throw in my 13% spell crit from stats... and yeah that spell i...

Dude who stole my towel?!!!

My gym requires you to have a towel when you work out. I think that's great-it's more likely you'll mop up that patch of sweat you left on the weight machine. I start out my workout on the treadmill. That's where I was this morning, doing sprints, and VOOM there goes my towel off the treadmill. I had 12 minutes left. I have yet to discover how to pause the darn machine and successfully make it go again without reseting ALL of my data (I know which buttons to push but it's never turned out right). So I figure that I'll just get it when I'm done. It's right behind me, minding it's own business. AND THEN SOME HELPFUL PERSON TOOK MY TOWEL. NO NO. STOLE. MY. TOWEL. After the first rush of rage (come on! I was right there! It was obviously mine!) it occurred to me that they might have turned it in thinking that some poor soul had lost their towel without which you can't workout. So I decided to head over to the front desk. First I check the trashcan-ju...

I just wanted to point at two articles from collision Detection a blog I sometimes follow. I liked both of them: http://www.collisiondetection.net/mt/archives/2010/01/in_praise_of_ob.php#more http://www.collisiondetection.net/mt/archives/2010/02/why_cyborgs_are.php

Physics pain.

The one about the charged ring. Following you'll see my current bane and hate filled nemesis. A cube has one corner at the origin and the opposite corner at the point . The sides of the cube are parallel to the coordinate planes. The electric field in and around the cube is given by . Find the total electric flux through the surface of the cube. Express your answer in terms of , , , and . hahahahahahaha [the crying start...
