School Has Started.

My spanish prof. only speaks spanish in class. I understood 50%. Chemistry teacher said that most of us would fail and that you had to have prerequisites out the wazoo. I last looked at math 5 years ago and science 10 years ago. I have no prerequisites. Damm says I'll be fine. 3 of my classes are continuations of classes I took last spring. I'm feeling that fall break I took. Damm has to add a class. I freaked out today about studying time. Both of us are tired and our two kids are showing signs of our stress. Neither took long naps. I'm loving and hyperventilating every second of this school life.

Desks. Laptops. And nerves.

We have a new desk. A nice dark wood color. Wulfa has an amazing new laptop: Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit Language: English (Regional Setting: English) System Manufacturer: Hewlett-Packard System Model: HP Pavilion dv7 Notebook PC BIOS : Default System BIOS Processor: AMD Turion(tm) II Ultra Dual-Core Mobile M600 (2 CPUs), ~2.4GHz Memory : 4096MB RAM Available OS Memory: 3836MB RAM DirectX Version: DirectX 11 Video Card name: AMD M880G with ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4200 It has a 17inch screen and is glossy black so plenty of fingerprints can be found all over it usually :P... Mine is still to be ordered. I want to thank everyone for all the input. It helped a lot in my research towards what we should buy and my comfort level. P.S. WE CAN SEE THE GROUND WHILE FLYING NOW!!

Today is the Day

"'I get a new laptop, I get a new laptop (repeat in a singsong voice).'" And new schoolbooks. And. Just wait-this is the best part. I. Get. To. Go. To. STAPLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And buy school supplies. We went there yesterday to price things and there were many many things that I lusted after. And then I had to repent and now I merely want them. Starting to freak out a bit about school actually starting(Thursday) and juggling school work and two kids but I usually do that and usually everything works out fine. As an aside: Sharon Kay Penman's Devil's Brood is out in paperback and is excellent historical fiction reading, in my opinion. It's the 3rd in her Henry II/Eleanor of Aquitaine series but it can be read on its own if you know a bit of what was going on during that time period (Eleanor and sons rebel against Henry, Henry defeats them and keeps Eleanor on house arrest for 16 years, gives his sons titles but no actual power, etc.). I expect that this boo

Looking for internet ninjas.

Given $800-1000 dollars what laptops would you recomend? We want the following from our laptops: Playing WoW Microsoft office. Windows 7(no mac this time around). Wulfa wants hers to be light. As office will run on almost anything that will run wow... that is not the limiting factor. Pretty much what we care the most about is graphics for wow. Oh and she'll care that the case looks pretty and things of that nature:P

Dead computer.

Posting this from Elihu's laptop. During a movie on Friday night he turned to tell me something and elbowed his water all over my mac. It has since died. So me and the Wulfa are waiting on student loans(this week) and my bonus(also this week(finally)). We will be buying a new laptop each(not the nicest but new). Until then as you may have seen this weekend we will be very scarce.
