Remorse and Bad-Bottom-ery

Aww we've been snarky and sarcastic a lot recently here at the OrcHouse. But thats the OLD horde. We're deffinitly new Hordies. Thrall hates sarcasm and Saurfang will split your head nicely with his axe if yer snarky. SO: Dear TJ and un-named Hunter(you know who you are), we're really sorry. Honest! Well I am. Wulfa's a bit... shadey... never know when she'll go all felrage on you. And now to my next most interesting thing: Someone recently used "Bad-Bottom" in a comment I read(past tense) on a blog I read(present). Seriously? BAD-BOTTOM. As in wow did you see that Orc one-shot 'nyxia and solo Arthas? He's so BAD-BOTTOM. Now I'm not one for colorful language...but BAD-BOTTOM is just ....hillarious... I've got this picture of Chuck Norris or Vin Diesel(sp?) as a baby running around in a diaper and a red wagon being all BAD-BOTTOM. I'm gonna have to use this more often: Dammy: " TJ too bad you just aren't a very BAD-BOTTOM blogg

Hate is a strong word.

I don't -hate- videos and flicker and u-toob or things like that. Its just they look odd to me. To prove this I wanted to post a few videos of my own: Here we've got a short clip of the Orclette dancing. She's so freakin cute when she dances. She does this half squat and then keeps trying to lift her leg up and tap her foot but has to emergancy readjust for balance. And as you can see she's grinnin like a banshee the whole time. And here are a few pictures of our Wedding and of the cabin we stayed at for the honeymoon. I LOVE the view in picture three. Its just awesome. And here we have a GREAT Julie whatsits video that TJ has never seen and its got this song...this AMAZING song that...well just listen. Wasn't that amazing? Heck yeah it was. See I don't hate those things you guys post. I just wish I could see them as well :p

Attention, Please

I had fun last night. Played for about 2 hours, chatting with guildies, killing stuffz. Most of the time I had a grin on my face-my guildies are funny. And I was having fun teasing as the opportunity came up. It occurred to me that I might have gone a wee bit too far. So, I'm going to apologize. To a Certain Hunter: It is not your fault your RL avatar named you after an ungraceful minivan. It would've been much cooler to be named after a BMW. But it is what it is. I know that you were kept cooped up for a while, and that's probably why you got soo excited to be playing and pulled before the tank. But you've been out of the inn for a while now. Time to start settling down. And I know you're a bit concerned about gear. Worry not. Keep this is mind, I know you may not have heard it before: "It is not your gear that makes you a good hunter. It is the skill with which you play your class that determines the hunter." And your trapping? I saw no problems with it,

For the Ladies

I am sure you have days when you just don't care what you wear. So you put on your usual garb-for me it's a cami , black, and jeans. Since the cami really isn't appropriate all by itself-for me it's because having the Orclette made certain measurements increase and cami's tend to show off that area-you throw on an old button-up shirt. And then you look in the mirror, decide it makes you look fat, and you tie the ends to reduce the billowiness . A rather ho-hum outfit, in my opinion, but then you woke up that day not caring. And you go to have lunch with your hubby. You open the cafeteria door and suddenly all male eyes are drawn to you. You surreptitiously make sure the cami is pulled all the way up. You mentally try to reconstruct what you looked like in the mirror-did you miss something funny? Failing to see what they're staring at, you wait for hubby. You ask him if he likes what you're wearing. He pauses, takes a moment to notice, and his eyes light u

I be rambly.

My laptop is back in action. None of my apps are downloaded yet so game play is a bit weird, but I have my laptop back! Squeal! My family is evacuating Houston. Actually, my dad is putting the cattle prod to the rest of my family, as he is the only one who thinks they should evacuate. I happen to agree with him-just because the hurricane missed last time does not mean it's gonna slide on by this time. I really hope they don't have a 38-hour drive though. Mebbe it was 40? I really don't remember that drive. Houston to Dallas should not take more than 4-5 hours .... The Orclette has been an absolute doll these past few days. I think it's to make up for a crappy few weeks. I stayed up way too late last night. 10 p.m. I am so old ..... then again, I was up at 4:30 this morning. Our local gas station has these wonderful fresh pastries that we've bought the past 2 days. So not in any diet plan that I know of. We've stopped dieting the South Beach way, instead I'm

Lifebloom?

Tick 1: So wow, today I told my supervisor that my last day would be 10/28/08. Now to start gearing up for the move and life in New Mexico. Tick 2: Last night I gained level 64. Yay. I'm actually looking forwards to the sporeggar quests. They look fun. Loving my T1 shoulders. Thanks SD. Tick3: Orclette now says Hai and Bai. Like that...not quite a crisp "Hi". Incredibly cute. Tick4: Got the laptop back monday. Warranty saved me 385$. Hardrive died. Tick5: So level 64 only took about 12 hours playtime. I should be 70 in 3 days playtime yay. Tick 6: Wulfa's downloading patch updates for WoW now. We'll do addons tonight and then the laptop will be running again. Lifebloom!: I'm starting the freakout/get excited phase of moving. Turning in your notice is so rather final. Ready...Set... BOOM go go go go go pack fast, make arrangements, sell stuff, throw away stuff, tell everyone. Recast: Oh A&F, I read Elantris about 6-7 years ago and loved it. Although for s

Small change

Temporarily testing a new section on the right. It is a list of all of the blogs I follow on a regular basis. This means I at least glance at their stuff daily. My reader is usually completely read by the end of the day. Although a lot of the articles I skim. Oh bother. All shaman blogs were in a folder called "shaman"....so they weren't showing up on the list. Fixing this. Sorry Slig :(

So out of it ....

I'm going to have a ton of catching up to do on my reader. I feel very disconnected. But our laptop is back, we didn't have to pay a thing for it's repair, and sometime tomorrow I should be able to play WoW on it once again. My brain really isn't coming up with anything to blog about lately. Well, that's not true, but by the time I have a moment to get on the computer my brilliant ideas are gone. I've been trying lately to spend more time with the Orclette-I'm always with her but I'm frequently not really paying attention. In the past she's been content with merely having me nearby but now she wants me to play with her. I'm not a playing type of person. Blocks are beyond me. Handing me something to only take it back seconds later confuzzles me. But, she will not always be in this stage. Soon enough she will be able to run around with me visiting bookstores, going to theater/movie, taking horseback riding lessons, archery, fencing, in short, all t
