Busy

Believe it or not the Orclette and I have been very busy. I joined a gym and have arranged to drop Orclette off at grandma's at 1 p.m. everyday (that I'm not working, or they're busy, etc.) so I can have a wonderful hour of working out by myself. Then we stick around the in-laws house til about 6 or 7, come back and wind down by watching movies for an hour. Sleep, then repeat.

Most of my composition efforts have gone into the letter-a-day I've been writing for Damm. We finally got out first letter yesterday. Apparently they took a sample of his blood after he had been up more than 37 hours and he fainted. He thought it had been a dream until his pounding headache arrived. I don't know a whole lot more than that, his letter was barely coherent.

Ok, I need coffee. The words are not flowing, inspiration is not flowing.

Well, after 37 hours, its no great wonder he fainted! That happened to my husband once, though it was due to low blood sugar/fasting for a doctor test (he's type 2 diabetic).

I hope you're adjusting okay to him not being there on a daily basis, its always hard at first, until you adjust to the physical absence. Even then, you miss them until they come home... You just learn to deal with it better, I guess.

I hope that doesnt sound harsh, but growing up in a military family, I had to learn to deal with it on a regular basis as a child. That's probably the reason I'm married to a civilian man now, though. :)

As far as I'm concerned, my time of military service was done as a child, so I'm through it and grateful its done. Military life is hard on families sometimes.

The Cat is Out of the Bag

I wonder where that expression comes from? There is this fabulous book that can tell you, only I forgot the name of it. Next time I come across it I think I'm going to have to buy it. Anyway. I was going to wait. A long time. Maybe forever. I don't like people coming up and hugging me, smiling and saying congratulations, or asking me questions. But Damm was talking to his recruiter about insurance. And he mentioned something that he should've told the recruiter was non-repeatable, because 5 minutes later the recruiter told Damm's mother (I have no earthly idea why he's talking to her-I keep forgetting to ask). After that I had to tell my mother. We haven't told any extended family members because there are quite a few here celebrating Damm's mother's graduation and that would be the worst form of torture I can imagine. So yeah, I'm knocked up again :P And this time I'm getting the t-shirt. "It" is due August 11. I have not been to a doc...

For the Empress and the Motherland

I finally got the gluing done after getting generic brand normal freakin original superglue. Gorilla glue foams and takes 30 min to dry. The guy at hobby lobby obviously misunderstood me or was a complete retard. I'm trying to give him the benefit of the doubt seeing as he was dealing with me in full on manic state. So I'm really excited about my new hobby and cannot wait to start priming and painting. For those that play I'm planning on playing mostly with pIrusk to start but eventually fessing up the money for a jack heavy Karchev list. Because jacks are awesome and -nearly- jack warcasters are also awesome. Anyways thats what Dammy is up to. Our blog has wavered a lot in focus from its origional WoW roots but that is life. Right now I'm kinda interested in Cata but not a lot. Without a surplus of interest from Wulfa I'm very unlikely to return to the game. School kicks up next week. Cannot wait. Even with books being as expensive as they are(and yes th...

Guildless.

Me and Wulfa are now guildless. This came as kinda a shock and with no communication from the deciding party. I'm currently looking for a guild for us. We are not "raiders" and will never be. We do research our gear and fights and in general our classes. We are looking for a guild that we can be a part of, chat with, and not be expected to raid or be on specific times. I think that means we're looking for a "social" guild. We are primarily alliance but once finances get squared away(aka my bonus arrives) we could possibly convert to horde. If anyone knows of any guilds that they would recommend please let us know.
