Sadness

I haven't been reading my reader. It's just too painful. All those posts about what's happening in WoW. The other day I was daydreaming about running a toon around in Elwynn Forest. Then I remembered Wulfa and felt just a wee bit guilty. She's 77, so close to 80. I am still holding out hope that I'll find time to play. It was also sad to log onto the Sidhe Devils page and see everyone else's name. I almost felt a tear.

I do have happy news. Went to see the head of history yesterday (he's my advisor person) because Damm got this cool little printout with his degree plan, what classes he had credit for and what classes he was currently in. I wanted one. Well, last time I was advised my transcript hadn't been evaluated. Turns out that I had 35 transfer, which means that after this semester I had only 24 to get my associates. That's much faster than I had though. Expected graduation: Spring 2012 OR 2011 if I take summer classes. Damm isn't set to graduate until fall 2012. I really thought I was going to not be done when he graduated. The other happy news that made me want to dance was that I'M DONE WITH MATH. I never have to take another math course again! Whooppeeeeee! Just 2 sciences and then I'm done with the boring classes.

Other happy news: I beat Damm on our first spanish test by 1 point. Not that we're competing. I got a 100% on my East Asia essay. I have another test in Mod. Eur. that I think I'll do well on. At the moment, life is sweet :D

Math and Science are by far the more interesting classes. Without such, we would be clueless in the ways of the world. :)

Well, despite the title of the post, I was glad to read on and find that the rest of it was very optimistic. Congrats on school going well and things settling down a bit.

Nas and I finally got internet back yesterday so I'm slowly making my way through 135 posts in my reader...

Guildless.

Me and Wulfa are now guildless. This came as kinda a shock and with no communication from the deciding party. I'm currently looking for a guild for us. We are not "raiders" and will never be. We do research our gear and fights and in general our classes. We are looking for a guild that we can be a part of, chat with, and not be expected to raid or be on specific times. I think that means we're looking for a "social" guild. We are primarily alliance but once finances get squared away(aka my bonus arrives) we could possibly convert to horde. If anyone knows of any guilds that they would recommend please let us know.

New Stuff

For those of you who are still following us I'd like to redirect you over to our new blog project, www.wordsremember.com . Damm and I have embarked on artistic and literary adventures and have even opened our own etsy shop which you can find here . Thanks!

On being Horde.

Obviously we no longer play Horde side. Wulfa has a 70, 45, 32 and numerous other alliance alts now. I've got a 63, 46, 20, 16, 11, 8, 8 Alliance side(all my alliance alts are new since we moved over to Kael'thas, wulfa's playing two characters that already existed before our horde characters were started). But we are two and a half ORCS. Not two and a half random alliance characters. This makes it hard sometimes when I see links to my site or I see a horde shaman etc. It is kind of like going back to your home town and seeing people you used to know and they ask you how your ex-girlfriend is doing. They don't know you split up. You don't really want to talk about it. Etc. Sometimes I think fondly about getting on my Horde shaman and leveling a bit. Nothing ever comes of it. And even less will in the future as I get further and further away from wanting to play those toons. There are things I like on the Alliance side. I like the Dreanai. A lot. Even th...
