No Baby Yet

Still waiting. But time flies when you're having fun, and having my mom here is fun. We've organized my room (to accomodate the influx of baby stuff) and are moving on to other areas of the house. My mom is a pack-rat and I've inherited her genes so we both need help to get rid of stuff :D We've gone to the campus so I can walk and she can run-and discovered the Orclette ADORES "runnin!" She'll do a running man imitation everytime she wants to "I go runnin!" We've also gone to the pool. My mom is a lifeguard, tri swim coach and I think sometime in her life she's taught classes so she's one of the safest people to introduce Orclette to the water. The Orclette thinks the pool is the GREATEST thing ever and cries when it's time to leave. I sit sedately by the pool and read/watch. I really don't like the water. Fortunately Damm does so when he gets back he and the Orclette will have great times splashing in the pool. I've been...

Food food food

I'm hungry all the time. Forget ladylike portions. Give me Hungryman-sized portions. /sigh. Not really. Hand over the child's-sized meal. Lately I think all my time has been spent gaining weight, even though I'm trying my darndest to not eat too much. Still walking, still spending time with my weights, but nothing can stop the growing . Well, birth will. And since my mom is getting here today that can commence at any time. I am now prepared. I was looking through pictures of when the Orclette was a mere week old. Damm was quite chubby-about 30 pds heavier than he is now. I looked like I had just been pregnant, of course. Lots of extra poundage that quickly disappeared as we discovered that the Orclette had quite an appetite. I'm counting on the same thing happening this time as I watch the scale inch closer to the 40 pds gained marker. And the Orclette was so tiny. Tiny babies scare me-bear in mind she was 8 pds 8 oz. I can't imagine a smaller baby. I'd have to ...

Short

Short post incase I don't get a chance to post one later. Tomorrow I'm hoping to phase up to phase 5. This will mean less formations, civilian clothes on weekends, and no more having to get a pass to go to the library and PX. School is BORING. So far we are just -barely- grazing stuff that another MOS does... not even looking at the stuff that we mainly do yet. Gah. Need to cut down on sugar intake. Selfcontrol is badly needed. PT is harder but we didn't PT on Thursday or Friday... grrrrrr. Hoping that next week the First Sargeant will lift the "have to be marched to chow" mandate and we will be allowed to battle buddy back. This would be awesome. And thats it.
