Two, and three.

This has really been a bummer of a semester when it comes to my health. 3rd sickness in as many months. Fortunately no throwing up this time, just a nasty flu that has me absolutely wiped of energy. But enough about icky stuff. I have this english class. Mini-semester, which means we had our first class just last week. I seriously considered running out of the classroom and never coming back 5 minutes into it. I couldn't understand what the teacher was saying. It wasn't an accent problem. I'm guessing it was a major jargon problem, which is odd because I speak literature classes. Or I used to be able to. Anyway, I went to the second class with "I am a survivor, I'm not gonna give up" sort of mindset. To my relief and surprise, it was a good session. I don't know what was wrong with the teacher that first time, but everything smoothed out for that second class. /whew. All of the other classes are going well. A+ in both my history classes. A in Spanish, thou...

So... I'm on facebook now. Due to an accident involving a fellow cadet who knew too much of my information. If you know what to look for you should be able to find me. She's really attached to this chair and will demand that everyone sits in a chair and then that her chair is brought to her. :P.. it is really cute so far.

We saw Taken this weekend (with Liam Neeson). Very much enjoyed it, although watching a film about one's daughter being kidnapped is not very wise when pregnant. Liam Neeson makes one heck of a good guy. I think I had a topic in mind when I signed into blogger. I have completely forgotten it. I blame waking up at 3 a.m. and not being able to fall back asleep. I got quite a bit done, but without being able to consume an entire vat of coffee my head just is not functioning. Only one class today. I think I can make it. Damm decided to change his major to history. He was a bit concerned that this would engender competition betwixt us but his interests really are not the same as mine. So once we get past the basic core classes we should be fine. And I think we'll avoid taking history classes together. He learns so differently than I do it ain't funny. And makes it so not fun to study together ...... I think we've decided to not find out what baby #2 is going to be. Of course...

I don't think sorer is a word, but it suited my purpose. You see, lately I've been surrounded by college athletes and ROTC cadets who are constantly running, weight lifting, and other fun exercises. And I've really wanted to join them but at this point I plod, not run. And not even that-it's been too hot when I normally run and there really isn't any other time for me to run. (This summer we're buying a treadmill.) So I've been walking. And watching the beautiful athletes zip by me. And I was getting frustrated and somewhat depressed that I still have 5 months left before that beautiful freedom. So, since I'm trying to focus on positive things (esp. about Las Cruces, since I'm here for 4 years. So far I've come with "I like going to school." At least it's a start :) I decided that I would start working weight lifting since it's something I still can do without much hindrance. And I pulled out my Cathe Friedrich videos. In case y...

Pushups 26 reps score of 46 Situps 27 reps score of 41 Run 18:44 score of 41 Total score: 128.... last time was a 77 I'm pleased. The run was actually faster but both my shoelaces came undone and I had to stop and tie them. Pushups didn't improve almost at all. I really need to work on that. Thanks everyone who has given me moral support over the last few months. It really cheers me. Hope things are going well in Azeroth.

I plan on posting pictures of me and Wulfa wearing our formal gear as soon as I get them emailed from my mother. PT test wednesday.
