I wanted Rayne for our daughter, or Zephyr, or something along those lines, and I got overruled something fierce. We eventually settled on Emily Renee and I live with it because 1. Renee is almost Rayne, and it's still something out of the ordinary and 2. My sister-in-law stole the name and gave it to one of her daughters as a middle name. Ooooooh I was MAD.Carriehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09486800879602370399noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8815887911092676043.post-18046585952685133372008-12-15T10:04:00.000-07:002008-12-15T10:04:00.000-07:00I like the names!Different is good, in my mind. Concordia as the much more friendly sister of Discordia (hail Eris!). Elise for our grandmothers, etc etc. Conny for short if she needed a normal nickname.
Congrats on such wonderful and historical/mythological weighted names. I love them.Maebiushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15818255129828936381noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8815887911092676043.post-29943789977763735162008-12-15T09:43:00.000-07:002008-12-15T09:43:00.000-07:00As a person with 5 (4+1) sane as your children it ...As a person with 5 (4+1) sane as your children it normally only comes into effect when female relatives are annoyed with ma and the run the list down. The ironic part is my maternal grandfather nicknamed me and that one stuck well into my late 30's so I guess I have 6 to choose from. Best wishes to you both (adults) and prayers for a happy healthy child to go along with orcletteFal's Folieshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02643013879156101490noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8815887911092676043.post-3694506459724363582008-12-15T08:47:00.000-07:002008-12-15T08:47:00.000-07:00I like both!Matthias rocks. I'm sure it's a big relief to have the house (relatively) back to yourselves again.

As far as the names go, multiple names or unique names, I don't question those. It's the names that just scream "make fun of me" that I question. I had a camp counselor once who's name was Melissa May Grow. She was about 5'1". Needless to say she was happy to escape that name when she got married.

Congrats again you three.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8815887911092676043.post-294553633778675782008-12-15T07:23:00.000-07:002008-12-15T07:23:00.000-07:00Interesting names!
